To create a backup of your WordPress site using the Akeeba Backup plugin, follow these steps:

1. Open the WordPress Backend:

    - Open a new tab in your web browser.

    - Navigate to `www.yourdomain.com/wp-admin` (replace `yourdomain.com` with your actual website domain URL).

2. Login to Your Account:

    - Enter your username and password, then click the **Log In** button.

3. Locate the Akeeba Backup Plugin:

    - From the WordPress sidebar, find the **Akeeba Backup** plugin and click on it.

4. Navigate to Main Operations:

    - On the Akeeba Backup plugin page, you will see multiple sections such as One Click Backup and Main Operations.

    - Under the **Main Operations** section, find and click on the **Backup Now** option.

5. Initiate the Backup Process:

    - You will be redirected to a page showing the progress of the backup.

    - During the backup process, do not refresh the page or navigate to any other page as this will corrupt the backup.

By following these steps, you can successfully create a backup of your WordPress site using the Akeeba Backup plugin.
